In particular, I offer my most sincere appreciation to those who took time out of their busy lives to review The Gift. Your opinions are important to me. I don't write to say I have written. I write to entertain, hopefully in the same way so many writers have entertained me over the years. For those of you who had to put up with a handful of typos in earlier editions, I thank you for your forbearance. Your feedback has allowed me to improve that aspect of The Gift. I believe readers of the current version will find it to be free of such distractions.
